With more than 40% of individuals in the United States identifying as racially or ethnically diverse, cultural competence is becoming a necessary skill for dietitians. This webinar will discuss aspects of the nutrition care model that can be influenced by culture, such as food beliefs, common rituals, and health promotion across the lifespan. Join sports dietitian, Angela Bruzina, MS, RD, CSSD as she discusses strategies for improving cultural competence as a practitioner while providing sample patient scenarios.
