Are the live webinars accredited by CDR?

CDR is phasing out its Accredited Provider distinction and this will officially be discontinued on May 31, 2024. However, all our CPEU programs follow the standards set by CDR for continuing education programs. According to the CPEU program descriptions listed in CDR’s Activity Type Definitions document, CPEU Eligible Live programs (activity type 173) do not require prior approval from CDR to be consider valid for CPEU credit. To claim CPEU credit for a Dietitians On Demand webinar, you must attend the live presentation, retain a copy of the certificate of completion distributed by Dietitians On Demand, and list the CPEU program in your CDR Activity Log. Any program in our store with "CPEU" in the title is eligible for continuing education credit.

The CPEU certificate distributed by Dietitians On Demand looks different. Is this still a valid CPEU program?

Yes. Beginning on January 1, 2024, CPEU certificates distributed by Dietitians On Demand for live webinar presentations will no longer use the CDR template for CPEU certificates. However, the certificate distributed by Dietitians On Demand can still be used as proof of your attendance to the live webinar event. To claim the CPEU credit for a Dietitians On Demand live webinar, you’ll submit the activity to your CDR learning plan and attach the certificate of completion we distributed as proof of attendance. We also keep a record of attendance for all our live events, in case of CDR audit.

How do I claim the CPEU credit for a live webinar event when the certificate offered is not a standard CPEU certificate?

To claim the CPEU credit for a Dietitians On Demand live webinar, you’ll submit the activity to your CDR Activity Log and attach the certificate of completion we distributed as proof of attendance. We also keep a record of attendance for all of our live events, in case of CDR audit.

On the CPEU certificate, what do I need to put on the line asking for Provider Code?

This section on the CPEU certificate may be left blank. It is not required for you to include the provider code on the certificate, if the name of the organization is included.

Where are the Learning Needs Codes?

On our new continuing education programs (published on or after June 30, 2020), you’ll notice that there are no longer Learning Needs Codes listed. CDR has officially phased these out and is now exclusively using the Performance Indicators to characterize learning competencies. What does this mean for you? Performance Indicators listed on our CE programs will match with the ones you selected on your learning plan.

When do I receive my CPEU certificate after attending a live webinar?

The certificate of completion for live webinar events will be shared with attendees during the live presentation and emailed to live webinar attendees within 24 hours after the live event. Beginning on January 1, 2024, CPEU certificates will be distributed to live webinar attendees only. Due to new CDR requirements for continuing education programs, we are no longer offering the recordings of live webinar events for CPEU credit. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Why is there no signature showing on my CPEU certificate?

You will need to download the certificate from your account for the electronic signature to appear on certificates issued prior to Jan. 1, 2024.

Will I receive a recording of the live webinar?

Recordings are typically available within one week of the live presentation. See below for instructions to access the recording. Please note: Beginning on January 1, 2024, CPEU certificates will be distributed to live webinar attendees only. I registered for a live webinar, but I wasn’t able to attend. Can I still access the webinar?

Recordings are typically available within one week of the live presentation. Please note: Beginning on January 1, 2024, CPEU certificates will be distributed to live webinar attendees only.
