Individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are often juggling other comorbidities and have medications prescribed for each of these conditions. Many of these medications have drug-nutrient interactions that dietitians may need to navigate. In addition, certain nutrients or dietary supplements may be of interest or benefit to certain CKD patients.
