Concise and comprehensive review of the disease process and the impact on nutrition
At our hospital, we have a large pediatric rheumatology practice. Pediatric scleroderma is not common but it can be one of the more severe disease processes we are consulted for. This case study provided me with a great overview and new insight into the nutrition implications. The patient scenario and questions challenged me and made me rethink some previous assumptions about autoimmune disorders in general. Having Ms. Claussen's answers was very helpful.
I highly recommend this case study for anyone in community health or clinical setting.
